Is it actually free, or is there a catch later?

It is free, and there is no account to make, no trial to expire and no watermark on anything you download. The tools are static files served from a CDN, so an extra visitor costs us essentially nothing — which is why there is no pressure to put a paywall in front of you. If we ever charge for something it will be a genuinely bigger feature, like batch processing, and the tools on this page will stay as they are.

How can I check that nothing is really uploaded?

Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool on the site. You will see the page load and — apart from the ads that keep the site free and the analytics that count visits — no request carrying your file, your numbers or your text. The stronger test settles it: load a tool page, turn off your Wi-Fi, and keep using it. Merging a PDF or generating an invoice still works with no connection at all (the ads simply do not load), which is only possible because the work was never happening on a server.

Which tools touch the network at all?

One. The currency converter fetches published daily exchange rates from a public feed, because rates genuinely live somewhere else. That request sends nothing about you — not your amount, not which currencies you picked — it just asks for the day's rate table. Every other tool makes no request once the page has loaded. Separately, the site itself loads ads and Google Analytics, which make their own requests but never receive anything you type into a tool — your input stays on your device either way.

Do you use what I enter to train anything?

We cannot. Your input never arrives on any machine we control, so there is nothing on our side to collect, store, sell or train on. This is not a policy promise that could quietly change with a terms-of-service update — it is a consequence of where the code runs. The tool is the page you already downloaded.

Is it safe to paste a JWT, an API key or a client's invoice in here?

Safer than the alternatives, and that is precisely why these tools exist. Most online JWT decoders and JSON formatters send your input to their server to process it, which means pasting a production token into one is a real security incident — the token is a live credential until it expires. Here the decoding happens in your own tab. Standard caution still applies to any tool: check the network tab yourself rather than taking our word for it.

Why is it called EveryToolAI when nothing here is AI?

Honestly: the domain was available and affordable when the two of us started, and we kept it. The tools themselves are deliberately not AI — no model calls, no chatbot, nothing you enter leaves your device — and that is the point of the site, not an accident. If a name promise matters to you, hold us to the one that counts: open the Network tab and watch your input stay put — the only outbound requests are the ads that keep the site free and the visit counter.

Why should I use this instead of asking an AI assistant?

For arithmetic, honestly, you should not — an assistant will work out a percentage faster than loading a page. Where these tools win is everything an assistant cannot do: operate on a file sitting on your disk, produce a real downloadable PDF, decode a credential you should not be pasting into a chat window, or show you live regex matches against your own text as you type. That is what most of this catalogue is for.
